Brazil Wins 5-4 On Penalties

Brazil drew first blood scoring in 13th minute when Maicon pounced on a deflection. Forlan equalized for Uruguay in the 36th. Baptista scored to give Brazil the edge as the half drew to a close. Abreu equalized in the 69th minute to give Uruguay a much needed goal. The last 20 minutes went with neither team scoring. The game ended at 2-2. On to penalties.
Both teams converted 4 penalty kicks each after 5 rounds. Now, it will come down to one kick each. Brazil missed its 6th kick hitting the left post. Uruguay can win it here with a goal. Uruguay misses. The ball hit the right post. Unbelievable. Round 7. Brazil makes its 7th kick. Uruguay has to score. The kick was stopped by Doni. Brazil wins. They are going to the Finals.
It looks like Doni surged forward before the kick. The Uruguayans are protesting the call, but the ref is not having it. This game is over.
Brazil will play in the Finals.
