In the second half, Mexico pulled away by scoring two goals. Bravo scored in the 68th minute to give Mexico a 2-1 lead. Guardado added a third goal in the 76th minute to secure a Mexico win. With the win, Mexico places 3rd in the tournament, while Uruguay finishes 4th.
